Testimonials

JOSH SIMONS - VAMPR

Leesa is an exemplary marketer, demonstrating exceptional competence, creativity, and coordination skills during her time at Vampr. Moreover, her outstanding communication skills and positive demeanor made her not only an integral part of cross-functional collaborations but also a true joy to work with. With her strategic acumen, leadership prowess, and impressive interpersonal skills, Leesa is a top-tier professional who would be an invaluable asset to any organisation.

MADDY HERBERT - VELVET BLOOM

Leesa has always been a huge supporter of me and will go above and beyond to help people. She advocates for equality for people in the music industry and beyond.

Leesa was my marketing manager at The Night Cat for about 2 years and she was always someone who would encourage and support me in my role.
Leesa makes the people around her feel heard and is incredibly knowledgeable.
I learned so much working with her and feel privileged to have had that experience.

Leesa is now managing Velvet Bloom and with her assistance, I am able to be more creative and focus on writing, recording and releasing my music.
She is filling in so many gaps that I had missed and has already submitted applications for us to perform at music festivals, found potential booking agents, come up with a plan for the next year, assisted with accounting and admin in licensing with PPCA, as well as talking through some heavy music related trauma to seek the best outcome for me.

Leesa is usually the first person that I go to when I need advice about something and I trust her to give me the most professional and sound guidance.
She works incredibly hard.

I have had a bad run with management and Leesa is the first person who I have trusted to manage Velvet Bloom. She is so talented, giving, passionate, hard working and warm.

JAZZPARTY

Leesa Snider has managed JAZZPARTY for three years over a very difficult time in the music business. We as a band could not have continued to grow and thrive, release an album digitally and on vinyl, secure a record deal, make video clips, tour Australia and grow our audience in this time without her. Hard working and authentic, Leesa’s belief in us and her skill and love of what she does is invaluable to our band. Being both musician herself and a music manager she knows how to creatively deal with all the chaos and curve balls this industry throws at you. You want her in your corner!

LORETTA MILLER

Always can count on Leesa to be there to bounce ideas and offer a measured and logical point of view, backed by years of hands on music experience. So glad to be working with another empowered woman in the industry.

DAVID BRUHL - GOLDEN CHILD CAFE

Leesa has been writing great Facebook and Instagram posts for us. By posting daily and with a consistent theme, she has improved our social media presence.

ELIZA HULL

Leesa is an incredible manager and has enabled me to achieve some of my biggest artistic goals. She forged the path for me to travel to SXSW in Austin, Texas to speak on a panel on accessibility and perform as part of a disability showcase and a Sounds Australia showcase.

She also supported me at Bigsound Festival and enabled me to receive funding to travel to the UK in May of this year to speak about accessibility at The Great Escape Festival, and tour with another disabled artist around the UK. She has connected me with many people in the music industry and supported my music and well as my advocacy work.

Leesa is extremely passionate about Australian music, especially diversity and equity for women. She works tirelessly and puts 100 percent into everything she does. She has always been extremely professional and has shown creativity and ingenuity when creating paths for my musical career.

She is one of the hardest working, talented, passionate managers I know in the Australian music industry.

MONICA DAVIDSON - CREATIVE +PLUS BUSINESS

I first met Leesa mid-pandemic in 2020 as part of the Australian Artist Managers GROW and CO PILOT programs, of which Leesa was a participant. I was contracted to run several workshops for both cohorts and deliver mentoring. I got to know Leesa more closely through our one-on-one sessions that I took over after her original mentor was no longer able to complete the sessions.

During our time together I have found Leesa to be extremely driven and proactive. She cares deeply about her career in the music industry and growing her networks. Leesa’s day to day is diverse as she grows multiple parts of her work life including artist management, digital marketing, mentoring, social media, start-up ideation and lecturing.

Leesa is incredibly passionate about access and inclusion as well as diversity and equity for women in the music industry. She has articulated many times that a long-term goal of hers is to build a work environment that is culturally safe, inclusive, accessible, and equitable as her business grows in the music industry.

Our initial sessions through the original programs did come to an end, but when we got funding to continue one-on-one mentoring, I personally took a strong interest in continuing these coaching sessions with Leesa as I can see she has the motivation and ambition to be incredibly successful. I want to be a part of her journey and offer her the support she needs to get there.

Leesa represents the strong, passionate, and determined women that we need to see more of amongst the music industry and especially as an artist manger.

LUKE THORNE - THORNE

It has been great working with Leesa. My social media game is so much better thanks to her guidance. My written content is much more professional and she has definitely helped me get more opportunities.

LUNA VEXA

Insight from Leesa's incredible marketing expertise helped me drive ticket sales and sell out my show in the middle of a pandemic.

The proposal that she put together while mentoring me was fantastic. I was feeling a bit lost on how to promote and target my audience for a launch show I had coming up. After just a few sessions with Leesa I had a plan to execute going forward and goals to achieve. I also received quite a detailed report of my social media following and great advice going forward to maximise my growth as an independent artist.

Leesa is confident in her abilities, a true professional who gives invaluable direction which lifted a massive weight off my shoulders and boosted my excitement during a stressful time. Couldn't recommend her enough!

SARAH HAMILTON - ONE OF ONE

I was incredibly impressed with Leesa's professionalism, and the audit that she put together for my not-for-profit. After feeling quite burnt out about social media, her enthusiasm gave me a new energy and I can tell that she really loves what she does. I would highly recommend her services.

CARA WILLIAMS - SLOW CLAP

Leesa is a dedicated music industry pro, who inherently understands the different nuances of projects and campaigns. It's this knowledge that makes her approach to campaign management stand out from the rest, and guarantees that no two campaign rollouts are the same.

KATHERINE FORBES - DESIGNING THE ROW & MUSIC BIZ BESTIES

My name is Katherine Forbes and I am the founder of Nashville based website and brand design company, Designing the Row, with a client roster that includes over a dozen Grammy Award winning and nominated artists. I am also the creator of a community of thousands of female musicians and industry professionals from all around the world called Music Biz Besties. I’ve served as co-producer for the International Bluegrass Music Awards, self-published a marketing workbook for musicians, and co-host a monthly songwriter series.

Leesa connected with me in March 2019, requesting to hold a Music Biz Besties meetup in her hometown of Melbourne, Australia. Her goal was to unite women in the music industry in Melbourne and to build a strong support system for women looking to connect and network with other like-minded women in the Victorian music industry. And, she has done just that!

Music Biz Besties is all about connecting women in the industry all around the world with the intention of helping their careers via authentic networking. Leesa has held monthly meetups since March 2019 which was directly after she returned from living and working abroad at Weller Media Agency in New York.

I’ve recently asked her to become one of the first “Bestie City Leaders” as part of Music Biz Besties’ movement to take the casual city meetups to the next level. In total there are 12 participating leaders from a total of 5 countries, with Leesa leading up the Melbourne chapter. On January 20, 2020 all the chapters will get together in their respective cities for Music Biz Besties’ first worldwide meetup day. Leesa is currently working on inviting her local community and I have full trust that she will be able to create a safe space, initiate new business opportunities for others, and lead the group through meaningful conversations during the meetup.

NELSON MATHEWS

Leesa is passionate about what she does. Her intimate knowledge of the music business (managing artists, lecturing students) value-add in terms of the assistance she provides with website design and social media strategies. She has been extremely helpful in assisting me navigate this world. I’d have no hesitation in recommending her. She’s thoroughly professional, and super nice as well!
